Mark Gilbert give an introduction to SQL Management Objects (SMO), the successor to SQL Server Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO). In particular, he unveiled a small utility for programmatically generating scripts for database objects. Ryan Roberts presented an introduction to Adobe Flex Builder 2: what is it, how can it can be used, and where it is taking the user experience. He demo-ed a couple of things he's built, explained the language syntax and tried to leave everyone with a solid understanding of its uses. He also spoke about the future of Flex, and how big its impact on the internet is going to be.
